Jackson Purchase Historical Society

The secretary of the Jackson Purchase Historical Society, Chris Adams, has resigned due to health issues. Chris has also served the society as videographer and in video production. In all of these activities he has served JPHS well. We wish him the best as he recuperates.

The Constitution and Bylaws authorize the President of the Society to fill vacancies.  President Bill Mulligan has appointed Bruce Dobyns to serve as secretary. A position he has held before.  To fill Bruce’s place as an at-large officer Mulligan has appointed Erik Nordberg, who has been a member of the editorial board. Both will serve until the next election scheduled for July.
