The summer quarterly meeting of the Jackson Purchase Historical Society will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, July 25, 2015, in Room 115 Wilson Hall, Murray State University, Murray, Kentucky. The business meeting includes election of officers for the coming year and collection of dues. Our speaker is Dr. George Humphreys from Madisonville Community College on the subject “Western Kentucky in the Twentieth Century.” The fall quarterly meeting will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 7, at the Weldon Public Library, Martin, Tennessee. The program is to be determined.
