Dr. George Humphreys will speak to members and guests of the Jackson Purchase Historical Society in Murray. The business meeting includes election of officers for the coming year and collection of dues. Our speaker is Dr. George Humphreys from Madisonville Community College on the subject “Western Kentucky in the Twentieth Century.” The fall quarterly meeting will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 7, at the Weldon Public Library, Martin, Tennessee.
