The Jackson Purchase Historical Society will meet at 10:30 am on October 22 at the Hickman County Historical and Genealogical Society on the Court Square (107 S. Washington Street) , Clinton, Kentucky. The program will feature a panel discussion by those involved in writing and producing the Hickman County Bicentennial book and planning the other events that celebrated this milestone. The Jackson Purchase Historical Society (JPHS) will meet on Saturday September 10 at 10:30 am at the Paris-Henry County Heritage Center, 614 N. Poplar Street, Paris, Tennessee. Our speaker will be Erik Nordberg who will share his research into the history of ball clay mining in west Tennessee and the Jackson Purchase region.  Those attending should comply with current state and local public health guidelines for gatherings.
