Jackson Purchase Historical Society Minutes for April 28, 2012 A business session was conducted by President Gil Mathis. The minutes and the Treasurer’s report were given. Melissa Earnest handed out her Editor’s 2012 Journal Status Report. Lonnie Maness moved we thank Melissa for her efforts. It was expressed that the JPHS host a meeting at a Historic Church. The report from The Board of Directors’ was that “the organization is running well.” It was reported that the Society has an Employee ID #, but no tax-exempt status, at this point.
